Front of House Manager
Seeking a FOH Manager for a high-volume waterfront restaurant in Northern Suffolk.
We are looking for a professional manager who has a minimum of 5 years full service restaurant management experience in the front of house. We are a high-volume casual restaurant but strive to maintain great attention to detail. We are guest first and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction. As a manager for our team, you will be expected to be a strong leader and help to hold staff to our standards while also motivating them.
Requirements:
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Familiarity with Heartland and RESY a plus
Financial management skills
Work nights and weekends
Have or be willing to get a manager Servsafe certification
Coordinate daily restaurant operations
Guest first mentality
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Regularly review product quality and research new products and trends
Organize and supervise shifts
Maintain and publish schedule for all staff in the dinner program
Maintain inventory of all responsible accounts (to include silverware, office supplies, menu covers, etc…)
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Control costs and help to identify ways to improve it
Recommend new ways to reach a broader audience
Train new employees and ensure that current employees are constantly being challenged
